I live in a high rise and would love to be able to plant a tomato on my balcony. Can you recommend any plants that might not grow very tall?
Answer:
Determinate tomato plants stay shorter whereas indeterminate tomato plants can grow very large. Mike Dennison gives a list of good determinant tomato and cherry tomato varieties. Also when growing on a patio you need to make sure there is enough sun for the plants to grow.
