Consumer Trialing

Assistant Professor of Residential and Consumer Horticulture, Natalie Bumgarner tells us about consumer cultivar trials. New strains of vegetable and flower are submitted for testing every year. Testers around the country test the new varieties to see if they have good qualities. If the new varieties are superior they are awarded the All-American Selections AAS seal.
