Fall Garden Clean-up and Making Potpourri

Dr. Kelly gives Chris the hot tips he needs for the cool season. Winter and fall months are when we prepare our gardens for the prime growing season. Doing your due diligence with the garden now by tidying and mulching the debris fall gives us can ensure an excellent spring. Gardener's gold can be found all over the ground in the form of lost leaves and sticks. Don't be afraid to lightly spread mulch on top of your planting areas along with your cool season flowers.

To make potpourri collect flowers and other parts of plants that will be killed or die back in the winter. Dry them and mix with ceder shavings that have absorbed essential oils.
