Phlox paniculata ‘Grape Lollipop’ Adds Summer Color to the Garden

Phlox paniculata ‘Grape Lollipop’ is a perennial native to much of the United States and provides a vibrant display of color in the landscape while supporting pollinators and other native wildlife. It is a mid- to late-summer bloomer, producing an attractive floral display for approximately four weeks during the growing season. This makes garden phlox a useful addition to sunny perennial borders and other areas where summer color is desired. As a perennial, it returns each year, providing reliable seasonal interest without needing to be replanted annually.

In addition to its ornamental value, ‘Grape Lollipop’ is a relatively tough and adaptable plant. Once established, Phlox paniculata can tolerate droughty conditions and generally has few serious insect or disease problems. ‘Grape Lollipop’ also has a more compact growth habit than some garden phlox varieties, helping it support its flower heads without excessive flopping. Its combination of long-lasting summer flowers, pollinator value, durability, and compact form makes it a practical choice for a sunny garden sites.
