Are the seeds from my tree peony viable? Will they come back like the parent?

It depends on the type of tree peony you have. Kyle McLain from Dixon Gallery and Gardens explains some tree peonies are sterile, some are hybrids and won’t produce seeds the same as the parent, but others will produce true seeds. You will need to figure out what kind you have.
