How do I get rid of bindweed (Morning Glory)?
Bindweed, or morning glory, is tough. It has lots of underground energy storage which allows the plant to come back after pulling or even herbicide application. If you do not want to use chemicals, you can keep pulling it as it comes up, and eventually after several years it can be brought under control. If you want to use a herbicide, use a non-selective product like glyphosate. Fall is the best time to apply because the plant is pulling nutrients into the roots for winter. It will pull the herbicide with it.
