How do I get rid of millipedes in my garden?

A simple and organic way to get rid of millipedes is to use diatomaceous earth. UT Extension Agent Chris Cooper says you can sprinkle it around your plants. The diatomaceous earth will cut up and dehydrate the millipedes.
