How do you get rid of celandine?

Celandine is a tough invasive weed in the United States. It likes to grow in shady, wet areas. To get rid of a small area Peter Richards suggests digging it up, but make sure you get all the bulblets. If there is a large area a herbicide is probably the best way to control celandine.
