Q&A - Is it too late to spot spray lawn weeds with Roundup?

Question:
Is it too late to spot spray the weeds in my lawn with Roundup?

Answer:
It is never too late to spot spray weeds in the lawn with Roundup (glyphosate). Just a note that spot spraying weeds will likely create small dead spots in your grass. The grass will grow into those spots over time. There are other options to spraying like wiping the glyphosate directly onto the weed with a small paintbrush or cloth.  If the desired grass has broken dormancy you cannot broadcast round-up because it will harm the desirable grasses.
