What can I do to help my arborvitae recover from having large brown sections?
This is a common problem due to plant stress and possibly disease or insects. UT Extension Agent Chris Cooper says often when more than half of the plant has browned, there is no way to recover the look of the plant, and it is best to remove it and plant a different plant in its place.
