What is this on my elephant ear leaf? A: Caterpillars
These are some sort of caterpillar that have just hatched. It is hard to tell exactly what kind they are, but University of Memphis Director of Landscape Joellen Dimond says there is a very easy way to take care of the problem. Just wipe them off with a paper towel.
