When using pre-emergents, how far from a well do I need to be?

This is an important consideration for the application of any chemical. You don’t want to contaminate your well water. University of Memphis Director of Landscape Joellen Dimond says the chemical label will tell you how far to be from a well or other water source. Always read and follow the label.
