Why are my tiny turnips going
to seed?
There are a few reasons small turnips can bolt and going to seed. UT Extension Horticulture Specialist Celeste Scott thinks it is a lack of nutrients in the soil. This problem could also be caused by a late planting or premature warm weather causing the plant to bolt before fully developed.
