Why do my cannas get brown and dry in the summer?

Cannas can turn brown and crunchy in the summer for several reasons. They may not be getting enough light or are growing close to a hot surface like a brick wall. Cannas also like lots of water. If they don’t get enough, they can get brown and crispy.
