Why do my tomatoes develop cracks just as they start to ripen?

Tomato cracking is caused by uneven watering. The tomato skin drys out, and when the fruit grows larger the skin can’t grow fast enough, and it cracks. Tennessee Plant Inspector Lisa Lawhead talks about what to do to reduce cracking.
