Q&A – Can I adjust the pH under my driveway to keep grass and weeds from growing on it?
Question:
Can the pH of the soil under my gravel driveway be adjusted so grass and weeds will not grow?
Answer:
Unfortunately, plants will grow in a large pH range. It is a good idea, but changing the pH that much will have an effect on the surrounding areas and any trees that might have roots under the driveway. It is easier to spray herbicide to kill the weeds and grass.
