Q&A – How can I save my prune tree?
Question:
Help! My prune tree that's been yielding lots of fruits just got knocked over by strong winter storm and I don't know what to do. It's a bit heavy so it's been sitting on the ground like this. What steps do I need to take to bring it back to life?
Answer:
This tree was blown over in a winter storm. Because it is older, the tree is probably lost. If it were younger you may be able to stand it back up and support it with cables, but when so many feeder roots have been broken it will probably not make it.
