Q&A – What is digging holes in my flowerbed?

Question:
What is digging holes in my flower bed?

Answer:
This is probably either an armadillo or a squirrel. Unfortunately, without seeing the creature it is hard to tell exactly what it is. If it is an armadillo, likely there is other similar digging nearby in the lawn or another bed. The armadillo is looking for grubs or insects to eat. The squirrel on the other hand may be looking for a nut he thought he might have buried there.
