This is a leaffooted bug. Retired UT Extension Agent Mike Dennison says it is not normally a problem in ornamental plants, but is can be a serious pest in fruit and vegetable plantings. He talks about how to kill them. University of Memphis Director of Landscape Joellen Dimond says she usually gets rid of them when she sees them.
