When will my hazelnut trees
produce nuts?
Hazelnuts should start producing nuts in 2-3 years, but there are other potential issues. University of Memphis Director of Landscape Joellen Dimond says to get successful production you need three different trees, and they need to be planted about fifteen feet apart in full sun.
