Q&A - What is this tree? - Sweet Bay Magnolia
Question:
I would like to know the name of this small tree that my neighbor has. It is about 10 feet tall and appears to be evergreen, considering it did not loose its leaves during the Winter. Would this tree be a good fit for the Mid-South's climate? Is it evergreen? Would it be easy to maintain? And could I easily keep it pruned to height of about 10 feet?
Answer:
Chris and the others identify this tree as a Sweet Bay Magnolia, and describe it's traits.
