Collecting seeds from vegetable plants at the end of the season is easy and lets you plant your garden next year without having to buy seeds. UT Extension Agent Celeste Scott shows the basics of seed collecting and talks about how to prepare them for storage for the winter. She shows fleshy vegetables like cucumbers, squash, and tomatoes.
