Starting a Community Garden
 

JoAnne Waterman from the UT/TSU Extension Service talks about what it takes to start a community garden where you live. It is easy to get volunteers on paper but as the summer drags on the volunteers thin out leaving you to do most of the work. So, make sure the garden is small enough to work yourself. JoAnne gives other tips on planning and starting a successful community garden.
