Landscape Flowers for the Heat
Many annual flowers do well in the spring, but then when the summer heat arrives they slow down. Memphis Botanic Garden Horticulturist Jill Maybry talks about some plants and flowers that will continue blooming like crazy even in the summer heat. Jill likes flowers that will attract butterflies and hummingbirds. She shows her favorite cultivars of lantana as well as shrimp plant, flowering maple, purple heart, salvia, and coleus.
