Praying Mantis
Garden expert Tonya Ashworth talks about praying mantises. Praying mantis are named for their large front legs that they use to grab prey. They will eat any other bug that catches their attention including other praying mantises. They take about five months to mature. They lay eggs in a paper mache looking egg cases on tree branches and can lay up to five egg cases of 200 eggs each in a lifetime.
