Planting Dusty Miller and Violas

The white of Dusty Miller combined with the purples and yellows of violas make a great combination in the winter flower bed. University of Memphis Director of Landscape Joellen Dimond prepares a flower bed and plants these plants. This flower bed has been used for many years and a soil test revealed it was more alkaline than it should be, so Joellen applies soil acidifier. She then fertilizes, mulches, and plants the bed.
