Propagating Carolina Bushpea
Using Scarification

Native plants are great additions to the garden. Carolina bushpea is no exception. Jessie Munson from Lichterman Nature Center shows how to collect the seeds of the Carolina bushpea. She also talks about how to store the seeds and prepare them for planting with scarification and soaking in water. She then plants the seeds. She also shows what the seedlings look like after a few weeks of growth.
