Q&A - Are the wasps on my corn beneficial?
Question:
I've seen wasps on my corn more than usual this year. Are they harmful or beneficial? And, does the dry spell this year have anything to do with their presence?
Answer:
The Wasps are probably on the corn because there is something there for them to eat. Wasps are beneficial insects and are attacking pests. The lack of rain probably has nothing to do with it. Leave them alone and let them do their thing.
