Q&A - How do I keep squirrels from eating my tomatoes?
Question:
I would like to know what to do to keep squirrels from eating my tomatoes?
Answer:
According to “Managing Nuisance Animals and Associated Damage Around the Home” the most effective way to control squirrels is to shoot them. Of course that needs to be legal in the area where you live. Check with your local game warden or animal control officer for details. It is possible to use a deterrent like moth balls but that will only work for a limited time.
