Q&A - How do we straighten our tree?
Question:
We have a tree that's leaning, growing over the pool. Can you give any recommendations on what we can do to start straightening it out?
Answer:
The first option is to cut it down. If you want to keep it, reduce the weight on the trunk by cutting off all the downward pointing branches coming out of the trunk. Then, cut back the main trunk some. These things will encourage upward growth.
