Q&A - My arborvitae is turning brown near the center
Question:
My arborvitae is turning brown near the center trunk. What should I do?
Answer:
An arborvitae is an evergreen which needs to shed its needles. When the needles are dying on the inside of the tree it is normal. If you don’t like how it looks, shake it to knock off the dead needles. Make sure your plant is watered during droughts, even in the winter. This will keep it green.
