Q&A - Should I lime in the fall?

Is it okay to put down lime on my lawn this time of year? 

Answer:
Fall is a good time to add lime to your soil. It takes several months for the lime to have an effect on the soil. Liming now will allow it to change the soil pH by the time it is time to plant in the spring.
