Q&A - What are these spots on the leaves of my peach tree?
Question:
What are these spots on the leaves of my peach tree?
Answer:
This is bacterial spot. Retired UT Extension Agent Mike Dennison says you can tell it is bacterial in nature because it has a purple tint to it. As the spot develops the center of the spot will fall out leaving a hole in the leaf. He does not recommend treating with a chemical as the leaves can tolerate the damage with no adverse effects.
