My oak tree has a growth on one of the branches. The growth is as big as the branch, and has misshapen leaves coming out of it. What is causing this?
Answer:
UT extension agent Joellen Dimond recommends removing the growth and see if it happens again. Joellen also notices that the tree is suffering from a little bit of iron chlorosis which can be fixed by using a fertilizer containing iron.
