Q&A - Why are my tomatoes dying from the ground up?
Question:
My tomatoes are dying from the ground up. Any ideas?
Answer:
There can be several reasons the tomatoes could be dying from the ground up. Likely it is blight but it could also be a drainage problem. The container may not be able to drain enough and the plants may be drowning. If the container already has holes enlarge the holes and take it off the pallet. The holes will allow drainage but also let the roots grow into the native soil where they can get more nutrients. For blight they should be sprayed regularly with fungicide.
