Q&A – Can I move my 10-year-old twisted willow tree?

Question:
Can I move my 10-year-old twisted willow tree?

Answer:

It is probably not worth it to move a tree like that. UT Assistant Professor of Residential and Consumer Horticulture Natalie Bumgarner says it could be moved, but it would be very expensive to do. UT Extension Agent Celeste Scott suggests propagating a cutting from the tree and planting that in the new spot.
