How do I help my 5-year-old
apple tree bloom?
Apple trees need to reach maturity to bloom and produce fruit. Retired UT Extension Agent Mike Dennison says apple trees need at least 5 years - sometimes 10 - before they will start blooming. In the meantime, make sure the tree has the best conditions.
