Getting many formulations of fertilizer can be expensive. Memphis Botanic Garden Horticulturalist Jill Maybry says her general fertilizer is 10-10-10. UT Extension Agent Chris Cooper says he recommends getting your soil tested to see what it needs and then apply the appropriate fertilizer.
