Q&A – Is it too late to plant greens?
Question:
Is it too late to plant greens?
Answer:
In zone 7 garden greens should be planted in July or August and harvested in October. If you start them after that time the plants will be too young and tender to survive the first frosts of winter. Also, a hard freeze can kill them before you have had a chance to harvest them.
