Q&A – My hydrangeas never bloom. What can I do?

Question:
My hydrangeas never bloom. What can I do?

Answer:

There are several things that might be the problem here. University of Memphis Director of Landscape Joellen Dimond identifies several possibilities to check. It could be the wrong amount of sun, soil pH, or moisture. Do not overfertilize hydrangeas. Also, make sure you are pruning at the right time of year, which depends on what kind of hydrangea you have.
