Question:
My limelight hydrangea’s limbs bent down in the rain. Should I cut the blooms now?
Answer:
Spring is the best time to prune limelight hydrangeas, but University of Memphis Director of Landscape Joellen Dimond says you can cut the flowers off now if you want. But she recommends staking the branches up so you can enjoy the flowers. Next spring she recommends putting in some supports to help the branches stay upright.
