Should I cut back my lantana
bush in the winter?
Perennial lantanas can get large and a little out of control. Joellen Dimond, Director of Landscape and the University of Memphis says you can cut it back. She says a large plant with a healthy root system will quickly recover and send out new growth. She advises to wait until the plant is just barely leafing out so she can see what is still alive and then prune based on that.
