Q&A – What are these bugs all over my garden?

What are these bugs? There are thousands on my green beans and okra plants. I've been using dawn and water but they keep coming back. They have started freaking me out. They don't bite but, they get all over me when trying to pick my vegetables.
Answer:
These are kudzu bugs. They feed on legumes. To control them you can knock them into a dish of soapy water where they will drown. If you would like to use chemicals, bifenthrin, permethrin, or cyfluthrin will control kudzu bugs. In the fall they are try to get into a place where they can overwinter which includes your house.
