What should I spray on my crabapple tree to prevent spots on the fruit?

You can prevent the spots and rots on the apples by using a fruit cover spray. Retired UT Extension Agent Mike Dennison says these sprays contain a fungicide to prevent the rots and an insecticide to protect from insects.
