Q&A – What’s the best way to grow vegetables in pots at home?

Question:
What’s the best way to grow vegetables in pots at home?

Answer:

Vegetables can be grown in pots if there is not enough space to grow them in the ground or in raised beds. UT Assistant Professor of Residential and Consumer Horticulture Natalie Bumgarner says the most important things to consider are a large enough container (5 gallons or more), well-drained soil, full sun, and fertilizer for the plants.
