Q&A – Why does my pink dogwood only have one healthy branch?
Question:
Why does my pink dogwood only have one healthy branch?
Answer:
There are a couple of possibilities here. UT Extension Agent Chris Cooper says it could be winter damage, but it is more likely dogwood borer. Dogwood borers burrow into the trunk and branches of the tree and disrupt the flow of water and nutrients. They may even kill the tree.
