Q&A – How do I help my smaller squash plants?
Question:
Some of my squash plants are big and have dark green leaves and others are smaller with light green leaves. How can I help the smaller ones?
Answer:
Often there are patches of soil where plants just don’t do as well as the same plant grown in another area. This could be because of less soil nutrients or poor drainage. Give the smaller plants a little extra fertilizer and when you can try to fix the root problem with amendments.
