Q&A - One of my Ligustrum bushes is yellowing and it looks like it’s spreading. How do I stop it?
Question:
One of my Ligustrum bushes is yellowing and it looks like it’s spreading. How do I stop it?
Answer:
There are several things that might be going on here. Memphis Botanic Garden Horticulturist Jill Maybry says Ligustrums can be prone to fungal problems. Make sure there is good air circulation and don’t let leaves sit under the bush. UT Extension Agent Chris Cooper says he noticed that some of the leaves may be showing symptoms of an iron or manganese deficiency. This may be due to incorrect soil pH.
