Q&A – Do you have any advice on keeping squirrels from eating
my peaches?

Question:
Do you have any advice on keeping squirrels from eating my peaches?

Answer:
The most effective way to keep squirrels from your peaches is shooting, but that is not an option in many urban and suburban areas. Retired UT Extension Agent Mike Dennison says there are a number of other options: you could try trapping, putting a sticky ring on the tree trunk, or even tying a dog by the base of the tree.
