Q&A – What are these flowers?  -A: Grape Hyacinth

Question:
What are these flowers?  -A: Grape Hyacinth

Answer:
This is muscari, other wise known as grape hyacinth. Dixon Gallery and Garden Volunteer Coordinator Tonya Ashworth says it is not a true hyacinth. It is a bulb plant and it can be transplanted. It is easiest to dig up while it is growing so you know where it is. You should replant it soon after digging so the bulb does not dry out.
